Week 24 Challenge Travel . Do you have a favourite travel story that you would like to share? Or do you have a family story around travel? In my family there is a family legend that my great great grandmother travelled from Sydney to Kerang on the Murray in a group with other families and that all the children travelled in the rear of the caravan of wagons out of earshot of the adults. Family History research shows this to be untrue but it is strange how these stories come into being and we are left wondering how they started and if there is any truth in them at all.
WEEK 23 CHALLENGE – we are making progress This week something I hope you will have fun with this. Take a photo on your phone of the room you are in or a favourite room. Explore the room as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?
You can really play around with this one ….See yourself in a different light…how does that compare with how you think about yourself
Challenge Week 22 .
What was the first movie you remember seeing? Was it at the pictures or at the drive in or on TV? That opens the door for a lot of memories.
The first movie I remember seeing was Fantasia in the mid-1950s . It was filled with such wonderful music and I think it was at the Metro Bourke Street, Melbourne.

I loved the dancing crocodiles and the hippopotamus it was a marvelous introduction to classical music. I was scared witless part of the time and thoroughly entranced the rest of the time.
Going to the movies in those days was quite an adventure. All dressed up in best clothes and lunch in town at Myer Cafeteria before the matinee session. It was an experience which helped turn this writer into a lover of the cinema and live theatre.
